Screams of Insanity is the first EP by guitarist Edu Megale. It has a vibe that recalls the "’80s shred" style, with fast and consistent melodies, starting right from the first track, Choices—an explosive and energetic song filled with slides, heavy alternate picking, and “classic” progressions.

The second track, which shares the EP's title, Screams of Insanity, clearly reflects its name—a journey through tense melodies to calmer passages, symbolizing the human mind and the life challenges we're often unprepared for.

The third track, For Jason, is Edu Megale’s personal tribute to guitar hero Jason Becker, done in his own signature style.

Chariots of the Gods, co-written with his D.A.M bandmate, keyboardist and vocalist Guilherme de Alvarenga, is the final song on the EP. It’s inspired by the book by Erich von Däniken, which presents the theory that ancient civilizations were influenced by extraterrestrial beings.
